M.Sc. et Mgr. Klára Tichá Dowse works at the Ponseti Clinic as a speech therapist in the healthcare sector. In his work, he deals with the diagnosis and therapy of speech, language and communication disorders in children and adult patients. He also has experience in the therapy of patients with swallowing and eating disorders or with difficulties arising as a result of acquired brain damage.

She studied speech therapy and deaf speech therapy at Masaryk University and subsequently completed an accredited qualification course Speech therapist in health care at Charles University. Her professional scope is complemented by a master's degree in sociology and social policy at Charles University.

She gained professional experience at, among others, the Thomayer University Hospital, where she worked in inpatient wards and in outpatient care. In the course of his practice, he encounters a wide spectrum of difficulties – from speech and language disorders to disorders of cognitive functions and speech motor skills to swallowing disorders. He also has experience in individual therapy for clients in the home environment and in conducting conversation groups for people with acquired brain damage.

He continuously expands his knowledge through further professional education. For example, she completed education focused on the diagnosis and therapy of voice disorders, dysphagia, or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

In his work, he emphasizes the individual needs of each patient, clear communication and cooperation with the family and other experts. Thanks to experience from various professional environments, he also brings to care the ability to take a comprehensive view, systematicity and an emphasis on interdisciplinary cooperation.
