Ponseti Clinic and the Anežka Foundation relaunch preventive care for nursery and primary school children

Early diagnosis plays a key role in the prevention of more serious health complications. Disorders of body posture, development spine or lower limbs are a relatively common phenomenon in children and without timely intervention can lead to chronic difficulties in adulthood. That is why Ponseti Clinic, in cooperation with the Anežka Foundation, is opening a preventive care program for children for the second time kindergartens and elementary schools, during the entire month of September 2025.
What does the programme offer?
Kindergarten and elementary school students can undergo a free examination of the musculoskeletal system, which is carried out using a unique SPINE 3D diagnostic technology. This modern device enables:
- 3D analysis of the spine and posture without the need for X-rays,
- detection of deviations in body posture or asymmetries,
- evaluation of the development of the legs and other parts of the locomotor system. The result is a detailed report with visual documentation that provides parents and teachers with a clear overview of the current situation child's condition. At the same time, this output serves as a valuable basis for any further professional examination or recommendation treatment.
Why is it important?
Early detection of deviations in body posture or locomotor apparatus enables targeted intervention and long-term prevention problems - from back pain to walking disorders. Thanks to this, complications that could accompany the child can be effectively prevented throughout life.
Price and availability
The standard price of a musculoskeletal examination using SPINE 3D is CZK 1,490. However, this program is for children completely free, thanks to the cooperation of the Ponseti Clinic and the Anežka Foundation.
