On days 9-10 11. 2024 with Mrs. MUDr. Lucie Lenďáková, head doctor of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine at the Ponseti Clinic, participated in the Neuroscientific Pain Modulation course. "At the Core Training Center in Prague, I completed the Neuroscientific Pain Modulation course under the guidance of Lars Avemaria. Lars is a globally recognized physiotherapist, author of professional articles and lecturer of educational courses. He works at a Swedish university hospital. The course was focused on current scientific knowledge about pain and the possibilities of influencing it. Emphasis was placed on the multifactorial cause of pain. In their treatment, one cannot focus only on the damage to structures - other biological, psychological and social factors are also important factors.Pain can affect, for example, getting enough quality sleep, eliminating the fear of movement, interpersonal relationships and other aspects.

A prerequisite for the successful treatment of a patient is the establishment of a good therapeutic relationship, respect for his individual needs and expectations, and the active involvement of the patient in the treatment process. The course was a great benefit for me and will certainly contribute to improving the quality of care," commented Mrs. MUDr. Lucie Lenďáková.
